CAF inspection team expected on November 15

Accra, Oct. 26. GNA - A four man delegation from the Confederation of Africa Football (CAF) are expected in the country on November 15 to inspect facilities for the 26th MTN Africa Cup of Nations Tournament. The delegation will be led by Mr. Slim Aloulou a member of the Executive Committee.

Other members of the delegation will be Mr Suleiman Abouba CAF Director of Communications, Media and Public Relations, Mr. Jean Marie Webber CAF Marketing Consultant and Mr Walter Gagg, Director of Stadia and Safety, Federation of International Football Association (FIFA). The inspectors will visit various facilities earmarked for the tournament.

Among facilities to be inspected are the four stadia for the tournament and training facilities.

A statement from the secretariat of the Local Organizing Committee (LOC) said, the inspection team would also visit facilities earmarked for accommodation, such as the City Hotel in Kumasi and the hotel facilities in Tamale.

The team will also pay a courtesy call on the sector minister and his deputy responsible

The tour ends on November 19.
