CAF President to visit Otumfuo

The Confederation of Africa Football President Ahmad Ahmad is set to pay a visit to Ghana on monday April 23, during which he will be received by his Royal Majesty Otumfuo Osei Tutu II the Ghana football Association (GFA) have announced.

Ahmad’s arrival in Ghana is ahead of an award ceremony that will see him being honored with a doctorate degree by the University of Professional Studies in Accra –UPSA.

"The President of CAF Ahmad Ahmad will arrive in Accra tomorrow at noon at the Kotoka International Airport," GFA communications disclosed.

"He will address the media on arrival at the airport. You are kindly invited for this event expected to take place at about 12:15 at the VVIP area.

Mr Ahmad will travel to Kumasi later in the afternoon to visit Manhyia Palace to pay a courtesy call on the Asantehene.

He will arrive in Kumasi at about 4pm. Colleagues in Kumasi are also invited for his short media briefing after the event at the Manhyia Palace."

Ahmad is visiting Ghana for the forth time since assuming office as CAF president
