CAF Cup: Kotoko draw a bye

Confederations Cup participants, Kumasi Asante Kotoko will skip the preliminary round of qualifiers after drawing a bye.

The Porcupine Warriors, Ghana's sole club in the competition will play Wikki Tourist of Nigeria in the 1/16th round between the weekend of March 21 to 23, 2008.

Kotoko play the first leg against their Nigerian opponents away in Buachi while the return game comes off at the Baba Yara Stadium on the weekend of April 4 to 6.

The three clubs are representing the nation in next year's continental club championships.
