Bruce Arena interested in Ghana Job

USA’s head coach Bruce Arena is said to have expressed interest in the Black Stars Job. His CV has been forwarded to the Ghana FA and is under serious consideration.

The Ghana FA has hinted that an announcement will be made very soon to name a new head coach ahead of Ghana’s friendly international on August 22 .

Bruce Arena is reputed to be USA’s most successful soccer coach ever, having built a team from a virtually unknown squad to being rated amongst the world’s top five.

He is an accomplished coach, manager administrator who has steered the USA to two world cups and is credited for putting in place USA’s current soccer development program.

He holds a business management degree from Cornell University and also doubles up as a color analyst for ESPN. What might work in Bruce’s favor is his salary expectation which is well within what the Ghana FA’s proposed $80,000 mark for a coach of his caliber.
