Bright Adjei confident of overtaking WAFA SC in GPL title race

Aduana Stars talismanic wide man, Bright Adjei , is confident his outfit can outmuscle WAFA SC for the ultimate trophy at the end of the season. The Dormaa based forward tipped his side to usurp the current league leaders at the end of the campaign.

The two teams are separated by just a point going into the last 3 fixtures of the first round but the Dormaa based forward envisaged a stronger finish from the 2009 league winners. Aduana Stars made a flying start to the season before taking their feet off the gas pedals which has allowed WAFA SC to take control of the division with 6 straight wins on a bounce.

Speaking on the likely positions of the two teams battling it out at the summit of the log, the skillful winger tipped his side to win their remaining matches and hope for a blip in form from the league leading WAFA SC boys.

“We need to win our remaining matches and leave the rest to God.

“Only God knows tomorrow and all we need do is to win all our matches left to be hopeful of annexing the trophy.
