Boye recovering from hamstring injury

Ghana defender John Boye has begun personal training as he recovers from a hamstring injury.

The Stade Rennes centre-back suffered the setback in last Saturday's pre-season friendly against Lorient.

Boye has been restricted to bicycle riding exercises as the team's doctor and physio monitor his progress.

The 25-year-old is expected to be fit for Ghana's international friendly against China on August 15 in Beijing.

The Rennes squad has been relocated to the town of Guichen, about twenty kilometers from Renne to intensify their preparations towards the start of the new season.
