John Boye returned to training with the Black Stars on Thursday ahead of Sunday's crucial World Cup qualifier against Lesotho.
The Ghana defender missed Wednesday's training session in Johannesburg because of some pain in his groin area.
An MRI scan on the troubled area revealed that Boye suffered no damage, clearing him for training on Thursday, Ghana's team doctor Dr. Baba Adams confirmed.
"It is an outstanding problem he had since he was with his club in France but it is not serious. He should be ready to play on Sunday," Dr. Adam told www.ghanafa.org.
The defender is for now available for selection as Ghana head for Maseru for the crucial penultimate qualifying match against the Basotho in Group D.
