Bofoakwa hold Liberty

Visiting Bofoakwa Tano squeezed a point out of Liberty Professionals in their Onetouch Premier League encounter at the Dansoman Carl Reindorf Park on Wednesday.

Both sides sold out a scrappy game that failed to yield results. With chances remaining scanty, the game was centered at the midfield where the battle for supremacy ignited a fierce battle between the two teams.

Liberty's best moment came in the second half after substitute Felix Baffoe was set clear from the middle and the player raced well above his markers but missed the target narrowly. Bofoakwa's David Sarkodie almost became the hero of the day when he took the defence of Liberty unawares with a hefty shot outside the box with the clock ticking.

But Liberty's goalie Patrick Antwi proved equal to the challenge to keep the score line unchanged.
