Boakye-Yiadom out for one month after head injury

Recovering Latina striker Richmond Boakye-Yiadom will need one month to return to the pitch after suffering concussion on Saturday.

The 23-year-old clash with a Cittadella player during a Serie B match after just 24 minutes and had to be rushed to the hospital by an on-alert ambulance.

Boakye's situation has improved and under observation by the club's medical team.

But the Ghana striker will not be returning anytime soon but might play before the winter break.

''We are very happy the boy (Boakye Yiadom) is fine now, I spoke to him and he was able to get off the bed but frankly speaking he cannot walk now,'' his agent Oliver Arthur told Joy FM.

''The doctor told us it will take between three weeks and a month for him to recover fully.''
