Boa Amponsem SHS wins cross country race

Dunkwa-On-Offin, (C/R) Feb.13, GNA - Boa Amponsem Senior High School (SHS) bagged 54 points to come first in the Boys division of the Central Region Zone Five Inter-Schools and Colleges cross country race held at Dunkwa-On-Offin. The eight kilometre race attracted a field of 30 athletes. Assin Foso Obiri Yeboah SHS took the second position with 79 points, Assin North SHS placed third with 84 points, Adankwaman SHS was fourth with 99 points while Nyankomasi Ahenkro SHS followed with 103 points. In the Girls division, Obiri Yeboah SHS came first with 77 points in the six kilometre race which also attracted a field of 30 athletes. Nyankomasi Ahenkro SHS took the second position with 85 points, Assin Manso SHS placed third with 94 points while Adankwaman and Abura Dunkwa St Vincent SHS tied for the fifth position with 107 points each. 13 Feb. 08
