Black stars Arguing Over Villas

The Ghanaian team is having problems with players arguing over the allocation of villas.

A member of the South African delegation, who are staying opposite the Black Stars in the team village, told BBC Sport Online they were stunned to see the younger players having a heated argument with coach Fred Osam Duodu.

"The players were all kitted out to go to training when the argument started. Shortly afterwards, they were back in ordinary clothing and the training was cancelled," the South African, who spoke on condition of anonymity, said.

If the teams are able to overcome their off-the-field problems, they may be able to take the lead in the group B standings with a victory following last night's draw between South Africa and Burkina Faso.

The Ghanaians, who brought a young side to this Nations Cup, will be up against experienced opponents, led by Spanish-based defender Noureddine Naybet.
