Black Stars team List Out

Ahead of Ghana's final Group I fixture in the upcoming 2012 African Nations Cup next month, coach Goran Stevanovic has named a 22-man squad for the tough away clash in Khartoum.

Ghana will play Sudan in the final Group I fixture in the qualifying on Saturday, October 8 before taking on Nigeria three days later in an international friendly in Watford, London.

Goran's squad sees the return from injury of captain John Mensah and Quincy Owusu-Abeyie, while FC Genoa's Massawudu Alhassan and Asante Kotoko's Yaw Frimpong have also been called upon for their debuts.

According to Caf, the continental governing body, each group’s final round qualifiers will start simultaneously as Ghana play in last fixture with kick off at 13h00 GMT while Swaziland clash with Congo in the other group game.

The Black Stars lead on goal difference, despite level on points with the Nile Crocodiles, 13 points apiece while Congo are on 3 points and Swaziland with no points after five games.
