Black Stars door shut on KP Boateng?

At the State House, Ghana, Stephen Appiah in conjunction with Primeval Media organised a launch for a Unity match scheduled for June later this year.

Personalities including Ghana football association vice president George Afriyie, who represented the Ghana FA at the ceremony, graced the occasion.

Journalists for few words after the programme, and he labelled Kevin-Prince Boateng a ‘former Black Stars player.

The vice president of the Ghana Football Association George Afriyie is happy for Ghana international after the player ended his suspension troubles with German Bundesliga side Schalke 04 for a return to Italian club AC Milan.

Speaking to a section gathered around him, George Afriyie said: “Kevin [Prince] Boateng is doing well for Ac Milan.

“I wish him very well in all that he is doing. He is a Ghanaian, a former Black Stars player and I wish well.”

Kevin-Prince Boateng was suspended indefinitely for alleged usage foul words against former Black Stars coach James Kwasi Appiah by the Ghana Football Association.

The FA said their doors were open to welcome him back should he apologize for the language and rude behaviour.

And with the player yet to retire, does the word ‘former’ implies he won’t be welcomed back to play for the national team?
