Black Stars Play Les Ecureuils

Ghana's senior national football team, the Black Stars, will play their Benin counterparts - Les Ecureuils (The Squirrels) - in the final of the Zenith four-nation tournament at the Ohene Djan Stadium, in Accra, today.

Ghana qualified for the finals by beating Togo 2-0, on Sunday, courtesy of second half goals from Baffour Gyan and Laryea Kingston. The match marked the first game for the Black Stars have played in the country in almost two years.

Benin got to the finals at the expense of 1-0 victory over United Arab Emirates (UAE).

As a curtain raiser to the final, UAE and Togo will battle it out for a third-place ticket which will fetch $40,000.

The fourth team will walk away with $30,000 while the winner of the tournament and runners-up receive $70,000 and $50,000 respectively.
