Ghana’s women’s national team will play Ivory Coast in an international friendly early next month.
The exhibition match has been fixed for April 7 at a yet-to-be determined venue in Ghana.
The Black Queens will serve as a preparatory match for the African Women Championship final round eliminator against Cameroon.
“The GFA has responded positively to the friendly against Ivory Coast and we’re very happy that we’ll be involved in that particular game,” Head coach Kuuku Dadzie told Radio XYZ.
“We want to ensure that we’re in perfect condition ahead of our crucial game against Cameroon.
“We haven’t performed too well on the continent over the past few times and I believe it’s time to change that trend.
The Black Queens were beaten 5-4 on penalties by South Africa in a similar exercise last week.
