The Black Queens have left the shores of the country for Cote d’Ivoire as they look to defend their West African Football Union (WAFU) Zone B title.
The 20 players and their technical handlers, led by Coach Mercy Tagoe Quarcoo, will participate in the eight-nation tournament which has Nigeria’s Super Falcons as contenders.
The Queens, defending champions, are drawn in Group A alongside hosts Cote d’Ivoire, Senegal and Togo.
Nigeria, Mali, Burkina Faso and Niger are drawn in Group B.
The second edition of the West Africa Football Union (WAFU) Zone B tournament start from Wednesday, May 8 to Saturday, May 18.
