Madam Hannah Araba Bagwei, mother of the skipper of Ghana’s senior women’s national team the Black Queens Mercy Myles, has passed on, GHANAsoccernet.com can confirm.
Madam Hannah who turned 60 years on 7th February this year died three days ago at the Legma Hospital in Nungua, Accra.
Confirming the news to GHANAsoccernet.com, Mercy Myles said she was rushed to the Legma Hostipal where she was pronounced dead shortly after arrival.
“She died on Wednesday when she was rushed to the hospital. I was not at home but my sister told me,” the sad looking Mercy narrated.
“According to my sister, our mum showed signs of weakness and losing her breath so they quickly rushed her to the where she was confirmed dead.”
She added that the mother had been suffering from mild strike for close to five years before passing on. She has not been buried yet.
