Black Queens Coach Sacked

The coach of the national women?s football team, P.S.K Paha has been sacked. The Ghana Football Association?s decision to sack Mr Paha comes less than one month to the first leg-qualifying match between the Black Queens and their Senegalese counterparts for the African Women?s Soccer Championship.

The letter terminating coach Paha?s contract ordered him to immediately hand over to his assistant, Michael Akpe.

After receiving the letter, he told the team which is currently in camp at Winneba at lunch on Tuesday and left for Takoradi.

Sources at the FA have told JOY FM that coach Paha was sacked because he has been picking his favorites, some of whom do not qualify, into the team. He has also reportedly failed to submit his training schedule to the FA.

When JOY FM contacted the FA boss, Ben Koufie for his comments he denied knowledge about the decision to sack the coach as he was continuing with his tour in the Northern Region.

Coach Paha himself declined to comment.
