Black Princesses resume camping

Accra, June 6, GNA - The National U-19 women's soccer team, the Black Princesses will resume camping on Thursday, June 7 in preparation towards the upcoming All Africa Games in Algiers.

Coach Mumuni Gamel has invited 25 players to the Prampram School of Excellence for the final phase of preparations. The Princesses are scheduled to tour France later in the month in search of vital international exposure in readiness for the Games. In France, the Princesses will play some select sides to test their strength ahead of the continental competition. The team will feature in the Algiers event as in place of the senior team, the Black Queens, who are currently engaged in Olympic Games qualifiers.

The listed players are Naomi Asanti, Mary Niiquaye, Jennifer Opoku, Ama Saabi, Sakina Abdul, Priscilla Annor, Lydia Kwarteng, Evelyn Amaning, Portia Baokye, Margaret Owusu and Agnes Quaye. The rest are Ruth Asanti, Juliet Acheampong, Cynthia Adobia, Leticia Zikpi, Mary Baidoo, Marcy Adu Boahene, Grace Asare, Diana Ankomah, Cilla Owusu, Jacklyn Boakye, Florence Adu Twumwaa, Agnes Aduako, Mary Otoo and Mawusi Gbenyo.
