Black Princesses break camp

Accra, June 1, GNA - The National U-19 women's soccer team, the Black Princesses have broken camp on Friday to make way for a week-long seminar scheduled for the Prampram School of Excellence that begins on Monday.

The team is expected to resume camping on Saturday, June 9, to begin further preparations for their participation at the All African Games in Algiers in July.

The Princesses are scheduled to tour France later in the month in search of the vital international exposure to propel their quest at the event.

In France, the Princesses would play some select sides to test their strength ahead of the competition in which they play as debutants. The team are to feature in the Algiers event as substitute for the senior team, the Black Queens who are currently engaged in an Olympic Games qualifier.

The Queens have also qualified for the China 2007 FIFA Women World Cup slated for September this year. 01 June 07
