Black Meteors 2 - 2 Cameroon; Ghana appeals for points

Ghana's black Meteors fought their Cameroonian counterparts to a 2 - 2 draw in the Olympic games qualifying match in Younde yesterday. Osei Kwame found the net in the 40th minute, putting the Meteors ahead that early before the Cameroonians equalized from the penalty spot. Issa Rahman was penalized for slide tackling an opponent in the box. In the 64th minute, Cameroon shot ahead before Baffour Gyan' header brought Ghana level in the 78th minute. with four minutes to end the match, the stadium was engulfed in darkness forcing the referee to end the match abruptly.

[GHANA has appealed to FIFA to be awarded the match. According to the Ghana Football Association, the home team loses whenever a match is abandoned due to such a mishap.
