Berekum Chelsea have reached a deal to sell talented midfielder Latif Salifu to Ivorian champions AS Tanda, can exclusively reveal.

The 25-year-old has joined the Zanzan region-based side for an undisclosed fee.

Salifu transfer to Ivory Coast comes as a huge shock after local giants Hearts of Oak announced signing him on a three-year deal.

“Hopefully by Sunday, Latif’s ITC will leave Ghana to Ivory Coast to finalized his transfer. Both parties have reached an agreement,” a club source told

Salifu was regarded a promising prospect when he emerged from the stables of Liberty Professionals six years ago.
