Benjamin Tetteh to debut for Standard Liege

Ghana prodigy Benjamin Tetteh could make his debut appearance in the Belgian Super League when his team Standard Liege takes on Westerlo on Saturday.

The 18-year-old played a pivotal role by scoring on his senior debut as they lost to German Bundesliga II side Fortuna Dusseldorf 3-2 in a friendly game last weekend.

The Ghana U20 striker has been with the second team since joining the former Belgian Champions from Ghanaian side Dreams FC.

Tetteh is likely to make his first competitive appearance for Standard Liege when they host their counterparts at the Stade Maurice Dufrasne.

The budding forward played for the Black Satellites at the 2015 African Youth Championships and FIFA World Cup in Senegal and New Zealand respectively.
