Beijing08 Decider: Siasia's formula for war

Olympic Eagles' head coach, Samson Siasia says he has the arsenal to prosecute Friday's make-or-mar Beijing Olympics qualifying match against Ghana in Accra's Ohene Djan Stadium.

"We have a team to do battle, and we have a formula for the game. I feel okay and all I want is for Nigerians to pray for the team so we can have a great day in Accra," Siasia said.

Nigeria's U-23 squad must not lose when they trade tackles with the Black Meteors inside the main venue in the Ghanaian capital when both sides clash in chase of a slot at the Beijing 2008 Olympics.

"In modern football, you don't talk of home team or away team. It is the team with the greater hunger for glory that will take the day. We have designed our approach and I have faith in the players."

On Tuesday, the Olympic Eagles drew 1-1 with EKO United in Lagos in their last friendly game before the trip to Ghana, but Siasia is most pleased with the presence of most of his Trojans.
