Bechem United Head Coach Nii Armah Isaac is confident in his side’s ability to cause an upset when they play as guests to Asante Kotoko in matchday 10 of the Normalization Special Cup on Wednesday, May 7, 2019.
The Hunters will travel to the Baba Yara Sports Stadium to engage the Porcupine Warriors with the aim of ending their winless run in their last two matches in the ongoing Normalization Special Cup.
Presently, Bechem United are perching 6th position with 7 points after 8 games, seven behind second-placed Asante Kotoko in the Zone A standings.
“We are determined to win this game as we have corrected the mistakes we made in our previous two games and I believe Kotoko on paper are favourites to win this game with the calibre of players they have and their current experience in Africa. Notwithstanding, we also have a young and ambitious squad which on a good day and good officiating we can punish Kotoko in Kumasi,” he told GhanaCrusader.com ahead of the game.
“Tactically we will give them a very good match because I am also coming into the game with one of the best teams in the competition which I believe come tomorrow we will give them a very tough mountain to climb.”
“Kotoko have the best player in the competition so far which is Fatawu and we have an antidote to him. I strongly believe my boys will lift up their game and at the end of the day, we will clinch a good result,” he ended.
Bechem United lost their last game 2-0 against regional rivals, Aduana Stars in Dormaa.
