Bayern reject Barcelona's $17.32 million bid for Kuffour

Bayern Munich have rejected a reported 36 million marks ($17.32 million) offer from Barcelona for Ghana's Samuel Kuffour, the defender said on Monday. "It would definitely be something for me to think about," Kuffour told Germany's SID sports agency at Bayern's training camp in Marbella, Spain.

But he said coach Ottmar Hitzfeld had told him the transfer was out of the question. Kuffour's Bayern contract until June 2003.
