Barcelona link untrue – Gideon Baah

Ghanaian defender Gideon Baah has rubbished claims he traveled to Spain to conclude his proposed move to Barcelona.

Media reports claimed last week that the 24-year-old was in Barcelona with his agent Dimitri Seluk to secure a six-month deal with the Catalan club.

But the former Kotoko defender has moved quickly to water down on the claims, insisting it's untrue.

"It's not true. I have not been to Barcelona," he told Helsingin Sanomat.

"I now have a contract with Hjk, which I respect. It is not at my discretion, to either stay or move on."
