Emmanuel Osei Banahene has earned his debut call-up with the Black Stars ahead of the double-header Africa Cup of Nations qualifiers beginning this weekend.
Banahene, 26, is named in Coach Maxwell Konadu's 23-man squad for the matches against Uganda and Togo respectively.
The Al Orobah striker is seen as a back-up for the fixtures with injuries ruling out captain Asamoah Gyan and Kwadwo Asamoah.
The Black Stars will begin preparation for the matches in Accra on Tuesday, ahead of their trip to Uganda for the penultimate meeting in Kampala on Saturday.
Ghana will round her campaign with Togo on November 19, in Tamale.
The four-time African champions are at the apex of the log with eight points from four outings.
