Baffoe hopes Asamoah returns to Black Stars soon

Former Ghana defender Anthony Baffoe expects Juventus midfielder Kwadwo Asamoah to return to the Ghana Black Stars soon.

Kwadwo Asamoah, 27, has been out of the Black Stars since 2015 following successive injuries at club side.

But the former Black Stars defender and now FIFA General Coordinator says it is his hope that the former Asokwa Deportivo star returns for Ghana.

“He is a great player. His inclusion in the Black Stars will add a lot to the team. His experience and high level football is what we need in the Black Stars,” he said.

The Juventus midfielder won the Italian Serie A title but is yet to return to the Black Stars following his return from injury.
