Ghana midfielder Emmanuel Agyemang Badu has backed Chelsea defender Baba Rahman to be a massive hit for Chelsea under Italian boss Antonio Conte next season.

Rahman joined Chelsea from Augsburg in a big money move and managed 22 games in all competitions.

The Ghana international had a bitter-sweet season with some truly impressive outings and other disappointing performances in some games.

Having arrived at Chelsea as the defender who won more tackles in Germany, Baba’s performance has split heads so far.

But international teammate Agyemang Badu says Chelsea fans will see the best of him next season.

“Baba Rahman will do 120% under Conte next season,” Badu told Accra-based Starr FM.

“This time, he will join Chelsea for Pre-season something he did not get last season.”

“So I am sure he will do very well under the new coach.”

Rahman is currently in his native country Ghana as he prepares for what is expected to be a career defining season.
