Baba Rahman set to decide future in the coming week

Ghana and Augsburg defender Baba Rahman’s future will be decided in the coming week as Augsburg want to find a solution regarding his future.

The highly rated Ghana international has been a subject of intense transfer interest from both European giants Chelsea and AS Roma.

Reports in Italy suggested Baba had agreed personal terms to move to Estadio Olympico but Augsburg are holding out for one of their most prized assets.

The German side are holding out for a transfer of around EUR25m for a player they signed last season from Greuther Furth.

Brazilian Filipe Luis is heading back to Athletico Madrid after failing to break into Jose Mourinho’s first team with Baba Rahman a reported arrival to fill the void created by Luis’s departure.

Augsburg are reported to be contemplating on declaring the player is not for sale if an agreement is not reached for Rahman in the coming week with the fear of the situation destabilizing their preparations for the coming season.
