Abdul Baba Rahman’s debut performance for Chelsea earned praise as he worked selflessly in the side’s 4-0 hammering of Maccabi Tel Aviv in the UEFA Champions League on Wednesday night.
The 21-year-old enjoyed a brilliant debut for the English giants at Stamford Bridge with a 91% pass accuracy.
The Ghana international has earned massive praise across the globe with two former Ghana international leading the sing-song.
Ex-Ghana midfielder Nii Odartey Lamptey believes Rahman will have an explosive career at Chelsea.
“He did an excellent job today and I think he will succeed at the club,” he said
“He put up a mature performance in his first game for the club. He can only get better with time.”
Ex-Ghana skipper C.K Akunnor agreed with the suggestion adding: “His movement was excellent and he played intelligently, running into space and holding up the ball well.
“We just have to wait to see how he performs in the subsequent matches.”
Rahman is expected to play for the Blues against Arsenal this weekend.
