Baba Rahman and Augsburg seal 2015/2016 Europa league spot

Abdul Baba Rahman and his Augsburg side have claimed a place in the UEFA Europa League for next season after finishing fifth in the German Bundesliga.

Borussia Monchengladbach slummed to a home defeat from Augsburg who came from behind to beat their match day counterparts on the final day of the Bundesliga season.

Rahman and his side went a goal down in the first half of the game via Raffael, trailing they went into the interval.

Pierre-Emil Hoejbjerg leveled the scoring for Augsburg before Tim Matavz made it 2-1 five minutes later. Sascha Moelders put one in the back of the net very late on for away side Augsburg as they claimed all three points in the 3-1 victory.

Ghanaian player Abdul Baba Rahman played in the entire duration of the game without a booking.

Augsburg accumulated 49 points from 34 game in the 2014/2015 German Bundesliga season.
