B/A United on positive transition

It’s always true that we don't judge a person by his or her appearance, Dickson Kwabena Kyere Stugart, has proven me wrong ever since he took the mantle as new B/A United chief executive officer. Looking at the timing of his take over, he had less time to even register good materials for the team but the few that he had are bringing smiles back to the faces of the disappointing supporters.

What baffles my mind is that the team is lacking enough support from the fans but they have been able to hold themselves against the likes of Tano Bofoakwa, BA Stars. The recent fundraising conducted by the team's management saw misery spirit from the so called supporters of this great club. I will not blame the supporters too much though because once bitten, twice shy was the message inscribed by Micky Charles in hearts of the teeming supporters once upon a time. But looking at the way Stugart is managing the team, l foresee great success ahead of him.

I entreat all the sleeping supporters all over to awake from their slumber and throw their unflinching support behind the management for them to bring back the good old memories of the club at the Sunyani Coronation Park. Gradually, the team spirit is coming because the man at the helm of affairs is ready to listen to advice. Stugart is on course to break that umbilical curse that has haunted the club ever since the life patron of the club stepped down as a result of insubordination. This current administration are the first ever since that incident to step into the king’s palace to smoke peace pipe with Sunyani Manhene.

B/A United at this stage need support in terms of finance to get back to Ghana Premier League once again so the loyal supporters must act in accordance with their pocket. The team have been built around the youth so within a year or two, Stugart can qualify B/A United to the elite division. Micky Charles must use his political influence now that he is a friend of President J. Mahama to help the team he once relegated to 2nd division and stop following his own selfish interest. Also, those Accra based sports presenters who had their roots in Sunyani, the likes of PJ and Cobby Jones should come and support their colleague presenters to move the team forward. Also, the Sunyani sports presenter who failed in an attempt to go to parliament must not waste the money on registration and campaign next time, we may need it for B/A United’s up keeping.

I am done.
