Tanzanian giants Azam FC have signed Aduana Stars centre back Yakubu Mohammed on a three years deal, GHANASoccernet.com can confirm.

The former Tema Youth defender played a vital role in the Fire club's triumph in the G6 tournament.

He was named best defender in the previous tournament which was played in January this year.

Yakubu, 19, was part of the Ghana U20 squad that participated in the 2015 African Youth Championship in Senegal.
