Ayews, Muntari & Frimpong for Sudan World Cup qualifier

The Black Stars coach, according to information reaching Goal.com Ghana, will drop Annan and Derek Boateng in the squad and recall the Ayews, Muntari and Frimpong

Ghana’s head coach Kwesi Appiah will name his 21-man squad for the all important Brazil 2014 World Cup qualifier against Sudan by the close of next week, Goal.com Ghana understands.

The game which will finally determine whether Appiah is up to the task after the 2013 Afcon failure will be played at the Baba Yara Stadium in Kumasi on March 23.

Exclusive reports reaching Goal.com Ghana also indicate that Osasuna midfielder Anthony Annan and newly-signed Olympiakos anchorman Derek Boateng will not be included in the squad.

Olympique Marseille’s Andre Ayew, Jordan Ayew and Sulley Muntari of AC Milan as well as Emmanuel Yaw Frimpong of Fulham will make the squad for the game.

The Black Stars are currently lying second in the group behind Zambia and only a win will put them back on track.
