Jordan Ayew has thanked his former club Swansea City upon completing his move to Crystal Palace.
The 26-year-old completed a season-long loan move to the Eagles on transfer deadline day.
Ayew had been angling for a move ever since Swansea were relegated at the end of last season.
The Welsh club however made a veil attempt to keep hold of their top goalscorer by rejecting a bid from Fulham.
Ayew in the end had to force through the move by choosing to not train at Swansea and rather make the trip to South London to join his new club.
The former Olympique Marseille was however full of praise for his former club.
“To the JACK ARMY! I have nothing but RESPECT and LOVE for Swansea!,” he posted on Instagram.
“Thank you for the support these past 18 months! Its been a tough year but I wish the very best for the team this season.
“To my former teammates and staff, it has been a pleasure working with you and being part of such an incredible family!
“You are my family till we meet again.”
