Andre Ayew has been nominated for the French Ligue 1 Young Player of the Year award.

The Ghana midfielder is on the shortlist of four selected for the end of season prize announced by the French Professional Footballer’s Union (UNFP) on Wednesday.

Andre was been in fine form for Olympique Marseille in the domestic campaign and Champions League but faces competition from PSG’s Mamadou Sakho, Sochaux’s Marvin Martin and Rennes’ Yann M’Vila for the prestigious award.

The awards ceremony is to be held on May 22.
