Augustine Sefah extends contract with Asante Kotoko

Asante Kotoko defender, Augustine Sefah has signed a one-year contract extension with the club.

The player, who is known to be a big game player, signed the new deal at the club secretariat in Kumasi on Monday.

The right-back’s initial two-and-a-half contract was set to expire on December 31, 2019, but his new deal will keep him at the Baba Yara Stadium until December 2020.

The development follows the club and Coach Maxwell Konadu’s interest in the experienced player who has, since his arrival, been a key part of our defensive set up.

“I want to thank the coach and the management for the confidence they have shown in me,” Sefah told Kotoko Express App. “I have given my hundred per cent to this club and promises to increase it even more. Aside from the game, we have got players that need some leaders in the dressing room and my other colleagues and I will play that role very well.”
