Atlantic hall wins Inter-Halls soccer competition

Cape Coast, Sept. 8, GNA - Atlantic Hall pipped Oguaa Hall 1-0 in the Inter Halls soccer competition of the University of Cape Coast which took place at the University's sports grounds at the weekend. Midfielder, Bismark Ofori was the architect of the sweet victory for the Atlantic Hall (ATL) when he delivered a long range shot from the 18 yards box that went straight into the net in the 65th minute for the only goal of the match.

Straight from the commencement of proceedings it was Oguaa Hall who indicated their soccer prowess as they matched their opponents boot to boot and ended the first half scoreless.

The second half saw ATL a rejuvenated side as they took control of the game and it came as no surprise when Ofori scored the only goal of the match to send the teeming supporters of the Hall into wild jubilation. After the goal Oguaa Hall threw everything into attack and made several efforts to find the equalizer but they failed to find the net till the final whistle.
