MLS side Atlanta United boss Frank de Boer has heaped praises on his new signing Anderson Asiedu
Boer has been courting Asiedu who is a student at the University of California for several years and he is happy he was able to land his him during the draft over the weekend.
“We are very fortunate that we had the chance to pick him,” Atlanta United manager Frank de Boer told reporters in Chicago.
“He was our number one pick. And you can say ‘oh, well of course you’d say that,’ but it’s really true. He was the most valuable player of the combine. That means he had a good combine of course, but it also [added to] the qualities we saw. I think he can be a good player for Atlanta United.”
Asiedu can play both in defensive and offensive midfield roles and has been lauded for his high work rate.
