Ashie vs Tagoe II still has no date

The rematch between Emmanuel Tagoe and George Ashie is still to find a date as promoters Baby Jet Promotions seek a viable option.

The fight had been initially mooted for December 26 but Allsports.com.gh checks from the promoter indicate that September has also been discussed.

The closely fought first fight between the two boxers was a sell out in 2012 and with both boxers moving on to successful careers,a rematch is an option the promotional team owned by Black Stars captain Asamoah Gyan are very interested in.

“We are being strategic because there are other ventures we are exploring on those same dates. We need to consider many things but before the fight happens Asamoah Gyan needs to be in town,that much he has told me" Samuel Anim Addo,business manager of Asamoah Gyan revealed to Allsports.com.gh.
