AshantiGold management member John Williams took to Facebook to say he will be glad to leave his post if his current salary is what will save the club.

Williams and other two management members have been asked by the supporters leadership (National Coordinating Council) to vacate their positions.

He wrote on his wall: "After serving on management for 10 years, 8 of which was without even an allowance, it has now been realised that our work is undefined. If my current pay of GhC1,000.00 is what will save the club. I will be all too glad to leave."

AshantiGold's season moved from bad to worse after exiting the MTN FA Cup following a 4-2 penalty shoot-out defeat to Division One League side Asokwa Deportivo.
