AshGold coach wants Stars boss to stay home

AshantiGold coach Zradko Lugarusic has challenged Ghana boss Goran Stevanovic to spend more time in the country and keep an eye on talents in the domestic league.

The Croatian feels home based players don't get a fair deal when t comes to the selection of players into the Black Stars and says that is down the fact that national coaches spend very little time in the country.

He told Asempa FM, "The local boys should be given equal opportunities in the national teams especially the Black Stars. That is where I believe they will get the exposure to equip them to compete with their peers."

Stevanovic has spent much of his time on the road and was absent at key local games including the FA Cup final which Nania FC won.
