President of Attram De Vissser Academy, Godwin Attram has disclosed to Ghanaweb in an exclusive interview that Asante Kotoko are yet to pay the transfer fee for defender, Christopher Nettey.

Asante Kotoko signed the right-back from Attram De Vissser in the Division 2 league for three years in the December transfer window for an undisclosed fee. Nettey had a short stint at Great Olympics on loan before he moved to join the Porcupines.

Since joining the Kumasi based club, the full-back has established himself in the first team of Asante Kotoko contributing to the club's success in the 2019/20 Ghana Premier League which has been suspended due to the coronavirus pandemic.

Months after acquiring the services of the defender, President of Attram De Vissser has told Ghanaweb that Asante Kotoko are yet to pay the transfer fee for the player.

Godwin Attram says the two parties have agreed on a transfer deal but Kotoko are yet to fulfil their obligations.

“He has already been sold to Kotoko but the arrangement, people are talking here and there and whatever but he has been sold to Kotoko,” Attram said on Sports Check.

He added, “They own the player and I own the percentage for the future that is the sell-on clause but they have not paid the money yet. We have rules in football so it’s up to Kotoko. They are not fulfilling their promise as they have promised to do.”

The assistant coach of Black Stars B confirmed that the Porcupines could lose their top player if they delay on their promises.

“It is already more than three to four months and they have still not yet paid, I am just waiting here as the President of the club for them to pay, if they don’t pay it is up to them, they will lose a top player because I will take the player out myself and I will get all the money myself,” Godwin Attram said.
