After surrendering a healthy 2-0 first leg lead, ultimately crashing out of the 2019-2020 CAF Champions League, Asante Kotoko are considering parting ways with coach Kjetil Zachariassen.

According to reports from Kumasi-based Oyerepa FM, the Norwegian tactician will reportedly be sacked by the Porcupines after failing to guide the Baba Yara-based club into the group stage of the CAF Champions League, suffering a humbling 3-0 away defeat yesterday in Monastir – Tunisia.

Deep throat sources close to Oyerepa FM cites that the top hierarchy of the club is not happy with his team selection and the reasons backing the absence of some notable faces.

Zachariassen, formerly of Ashgold is set to lose his job to an unnamed German coach, after supervising yesterday’s poor results against Tunisian outfit Etoile du Sahel in Monastir.

The Norwegian watched his side slump to a 3-0 defeat against Etoile du Sahel on Sunday in Monastir.

A final decision about the future of the coach will be taken when the team arrives in Ghana.
