Asante Kotoko's anniversary friendly postponed

Asante Kotoko’s international friendly against Greek Veria FC to commemorate their 80th anniversary celebrations will now be played on 15 November.

This is the third time the exhibition match has been postponed by organizers Pacific Ghana Limited.

The dethroned Ghana Premier League champions were originally billed to play Romanian club Petrolul in 30 September.

Veria FC then replaced Petrolul and then date was moved back to 11 October.

A press conference will take place next Wednesday at the Golden Tulip Hotel where details of Veria’s travel arrangement and other information will be made known.

A former assistant coach of Greece’s national team and technical director of Veria FC, Zisis Vryzas is leading officials of his club to Kumasi next week.

Also among the delegation are Andreas Ikimis and Konstantia Tziotaa.
