Juventus midfielder Kwadwo Asamoah will miss Tuesday’s night’s Champions League round 16 first leg tie against Bayern Munich at the Juventus Stadium.

The Ghana international is still recovering from a thigh injury which has sidelined him since 27 January when he played in a Copa Italia match.

Asamoah, 27, is expected to start training this week.

It's been hectic for the Ghanaian super star whose career appears to be crushing right under his nose with no end in sight to his injury troubles.

Massimiliano Allegri announced his 19-man squad for the clash on Monday evening.
