A five-star blistering performance by FA Cup winners Al-Ain, including two goals from international striker Mohamed Omar, shot them to a thrashing 5-1 away win over Sharjah, as defending champions Al-Wahda stumbled again.

Arthur Moses netted his 11th goal in 20 matches for Al-Ain after 34 minutes, after being left completely unmarked in the opposite goalmouth as the visitors sent their hosts trailing 1-0 at the interval, before rattling in 4 consecutive goals after the break through Mohamed Omar 49; 52, Shehab Ahmed 58 and Salem Jawhar 89.
