Aristica to hit $110,000 in Medeama deal

Romanian coach Cioaba Aristica is all but through to return to the Glo Premier League after agreeing on terms with leaders Medeama FC, footy-Ghana.com can exclusively reveal.
Footy-Ghana can confirm the former Aduana Stars coach has agreed to a two and half year deal with the Mauves and yellow after successful talks with club President Moses Armah and his vice Aryeetey Commey from his base in Oman.
Our inside sources reveal Aristica will receive $20,000 as signing on fee and take home $3,000 as monthly salary.
He was preferred to compatriot Dorian Marin whose demands were relatively on the high side but his experience in the local league gave him the bigger edge.
"The president of Medeama called me and also the vice president talk to me and we agree that I will coach them.
"I signed a one year deal in Oman which will soon end so I will meet my management here to talk to them about my situation with Medeama then come to Ghana,” the Romanian confirmed talks with Medeama.
Aristica is currently the head coach of Omanian Elite League leaders Saham Sports Club.
He joined the side in January 2012 after ditching Aduana Stars when the first round of the 2011/12 Glo Premier League season ended.
He may have overseen his final game for the club after they went away to beat Al Musannah 1-0 on Thursday.
